The obesity epidemic - Is there a surgical solution?
Obesity is the fastest growing epidemic in the western world. There are now over one million morbidly obese people in the UK. Surgery offers an effective treatment for this problem in those lucky enough to get it. The main operations include laparoscopic gastric banding and gastric bypass.
